A PLEA FOR DIALOGUE AND OPENING OF SOCIAL AND HUMAN SCIENCES AND THE SCIENCES OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND THE ROLE OF DIGITAL SOCIOLOGY

Abstract

In the paper, the author presents his statement at the panel “New Technologies from the Perspective of Social and Human Sciences”, which was held on June 12 and 13, 2024, at the VIII Forum of Advanced Technologies in the Science and Technology Park – Niš. The author presents his plea for the opening and dialogue of the social and human sciences and the sciences of new technologies, as well as their cooperation in the scientific universe and university academic practice of educating personnel for the new age. In this context, the author emphasizes the importance of institutionalization and development of digital sociology and its role as a transdisciplinary science and the need for cooperation between scientific-technological and social-humanistic sciences in the system of integrated education.
