About the Journal
The Sociological Annual is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. All users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. The journal does not require article processing charges or any other author fees.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia has categorized the Sociological Annual as а “Nationally significant journal” (М52).
The Sociological Annual publishes scientific papers in the field of sociology, as well as other socio-humanistic disciplines: social philosophy, anthropology, ethnology, economics, cultural studies, political science, history, sociolinguistics, demographics, social psychology, social pedagogy and the like. Inter-/multi-disciplinary articles are also accepted. Papers are published in Serbian (Croatian, Bosnian), English, German, Russian and French. All papers undergo a review procedure. In addition, the Journal publishes professional articles, reviews and overviews.
From 2005 to 2011 the Sociological Annual was published once a year, and since 2012 it has been published biannually.
